How to clear iPhone RAM without restarting it

iPhone RAM cleaningA few weeks ago I presented you with a trick designed to make iPhones faster in 10 seconds, based on cleaning the RAM occupied by open applications in our iDevices.

That trick was based on a terminal restart iPhone using the Home + Power buttons, the procedure closing and reopening the devices in just a few seconds, but today I have for you a much simpler method to achieve the same end result.

More precisely, you can clear the RAM of a iPhone and free up RAM for use with new applications without closing and reopening your devices, the trick being recommended in the past to solve some problems with the Home buttons of the iPhone 4, although it has a completely different utility.

How to clear iPhone RAM without restarting it

The steps below can be followed on any kind of iPhone, but even on iPad tablets or iPod Touches, regardless of the iOS version you have installed in your devices, so you can enjoy its effect to improve the performance of Apple products.

To clean the iPhone RAM you must:

  1. Press the Power button, on the upper right or upper right side of the case for 3 seconds, after which the closing interface will appear;
  2. In the new interface, long press the Home button, the round one at the bottom of the terminals.
  3. While holding, you should return to the main apps screen.

Now if you try to reopen an application that was already open in the background, you will notice that the data displayed in it will be reloaded, a sign that everything it had saved in the RAM of your device has been deleted, the same being true for the rest of the remaining applications in the background.

In essence, you can recover up to 400-500 MB of RAM if you have a terminal with 2 GB of RAM, the amount being smaller in the case of devices with less RAM, but regardless of the amount, the performances will be better after following the procedure.
