Safari and an iPhone problem that is several years old

An annoying Safari problem prevents returning to the top of a page by pressing the status bar, iPhone and iPad being affected.

Safari has been for several years the most used browser for mobile terminals in the whole world, the Apple company forcing its customers to use this application in iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch because all iOS links open with this browser, no matter how they are accessed.

Over the years Safari has been improved to be faster and some problems have been solved, but one that I've been having for years persists and it can be extremely annoying in many situations, Apple's refusing to solve it, as is normally in their character.

I'm talking about one bug that prevents returning to the top of a web page when we are in its lower part, pressing the status bar should normally bring the page to the header immediately without scrolling through the entire page, but the bug affects the normal functionality of the browser.

I don't know why this bug exists, but it has existed for a very long time, it appears unexpectedly, and when I access a page with a lot of content, the only solution to return to the header is to scroll through the entire page or return to the previous one , if it was launched at the header.

Completely closing Safari and reopening solves the problem, but that also involves a reload of all pages, and if you left a form, or anything else with entered text, unsaved on a page, that information will be lost forever.

I don't know why Apple engineers refuse to solve this problem, but it's hard to keep up with everything that Apple refuses to solve, considering that we are talking about so many problems.

What other problems have you had with Safari?
