iTunes 12.4.1 has been released

iTunes 12.4.1 was released last night by Apple, the new version of the program for computers being released to solve some of the problems reported by Windows and OS X users who use it.

According to the Apple company, iTunes 12.4.1 solves a problem of the program when used together with the VoiceOver system, brings back the option to reset the number of listens for songs, solves the problems of the Up Next function and crossfading.

iTunes 12.4.1 can be downloaded through the Software Update system in OS X or Windows, or directly from the Apple website.

This update addresses a number of problems where iTunes doesn't work as expected with VoiceOver. It also restores the option to Reset Plays and fixes the following issues:

  • Up Next may have unexpectedly played songs added together in the incorrect order.
  • iTunes was prevented from crossfading between songs.
