iPad Pro 12.9-inch si iPad Pro 9.7-inch were launched this year by the Apple company, the two tablets being far ahead of the competition from many points of view, but at the same time being behind them due to the lack of other important functions.
However, in terms of performance, both models of iPad Pro dominates the competition, and the performances are different in various segments of everyday use, as expected considering the different hardware implemented in both.
iPad Pro 12.9-inch it has a 12.9-inch screen with a resolution of 2732 x 2048 pixels, an A9X chip with a dual-core processor clocked at 2.26 Ghz, with 4 GB of RAM and a PowerVR Series 7 video card with 12 cores.
iPad Pro 9.7-inch it has a 9.7-inch screen with a resolution of 2048 x 1536, an A9X chip with a dual-core processor clocked at 2.16 GHz, with 2 GB of RAM and the same owerVR Series 7 graphics card with 12 cores.
In tests regarding internet browsing, iPad Pro 12.9-inch it has a slight advantage over its smaller sister, but also the iPhone 6S, the differences being small and imperceptible between them, but large and easily noticeable compared to previous iDevices and competing products.
In the case of video cards, the situation is somewhat similar, with very large differences in the gross power of the component, but much smaller differences in the tests with the screen on, the higher resolution of the iPad Pro 12.9 inch screen bringing the two tablets closer in terms of performance.
We also have differences regarding the write/read speeds of the NAND flash chips implemented by Apple, iPad Pro 9.7-inch having a huge advantage over its older sister or the iPhone 6S when it comes to writing data.
When reading, the differences are not that dramatic, but in both cases it is very easy to see how big the difference in performance is between Apple's products and those of competitors, or those of older iDevices.
Both iPad Pro models offer spectacular performance and dominate the competition from almost every point of view.
