iOS 10 offers a new call blocking system

The Apple company announced that in iOS 10 implements new functions for the identification of those who call us, so that if we are called by a number that we do not have in the phonebook, it will be possible to identify it with the help of third-party applications installed in our terminals.

For example, if we are called from a phone number used by a bank or a credit recovery company, and a third-party application has it marked as such in its database, iOS will indicate this when it displays the phone number when we are called.

This function also has a dedicated menu in the Settings, Configurations application, and there the Apple company lists all the applications that allow the identification of the numbers that call us and also allows them to be blocked so that they will not be called again.

For now, it is not known if this system would also allow the blocking of calls with an unknown number, but everything will depend on third-party applications that can offer this functionality, because iOS 10 does not offer it by default.
