Pokemon GO is the most used game of all time in the US

Pokemon GO is the most used game of all time in the US, according to a new study published today, the title managing to knock Candy Crush from the first position in this top, thanks to the fact that only in the US it has over 20 million users active daily at the moment.

Candy Crush held a record set in 2013 which was based on the fact that 20 million people used the application daily for a period of time, but Pokemon GO managed to break this record with almost 21 million daily users in the US alone, that is, over 6% of the country's population plays this game.

Candy Crush had a maximum of 93 million daily active users worldwide, and Pokemon GO could approach this figure, especially since today the application began to appear in the App Stores in Europe, the gradual launch bringing millions over millions of new players in the Niantic ecosystem.

Those who carried out this study say that there are chances that Pokemon GO will even surpass Google Maps or Snapchat in terms of the number of daily active users, but this seems very unlikely because we are talking about applications that have a completely different set of users in the present moment.

We finally have numbers to support what you might have already guessed: Pokémon GO is the biggest mobile game in US history. Shooting to the top of the app store on the day it was released, within 24 hours Pokémon GO beat out indie hit Slither.io and Supercell's heavily promoted blockbuster Clash Royale to become the biggest game of 2016, as measured by daily active users.
