Why does the iPhone 6 screen break and does not work

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus screen breaks after a gray stripe appears because Apple made a very important manufacturing mistake.

I told you the other day that the iPhone 6 screen breaks and a gray stripe appears in its upper part, the problem being called in the USA Touch IC Disease, the Touch ID disease. The problem is based on the fact that a small chip in the iPhone 6, which should control the touch panel of the screen, detaches from the motherboard, so it no longer makes contact with it and does not register touches.

According to GSM services in the USA, 90% of the terminals whose screen breaks are 6 iPhone Plus, iPhone 6 representing the remaining 10%, a very small percentage. I told you why the iPhone 6 screen breaks and does not respond to touches, but the real cause is much more complex and the GSM services directly blame Apple for it.

The iPhone 6 screen breaks after the appearance of a gray stripe and it is Apple's fault

According to the representatives of the GSM services, the Apple company made a major change for the internal components of the iPhone 6 compared to the iPhone 5S. More precisely, if for iPhone 5S he used a metal plate to protect the contacts of that face of the screen, for iPhone 6 he uses a simple sticker, the change being a major mistake.

Because in iPhone 6 there is no longer that protection with a metal plate, the chip is not protected when the iPhone 6 Plus terminal bends during use. After a long period of time of use, that chip will detach from the motherboard, and the screen will refuse to respond to touches, the problem becoming a major one.

Considering that this chip is fragile, this is where the problems with the broken screen appear, and they appear about a year after the start of use and mainly on the iPhone 6 Plus. The mistake is entirely Apple's and of course it will not be recognized because it is difficult to recognize such a big mistake.

iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus are protected

Although the iPhone 6 Plus screen breaks, and the iPhone 6 screen is also fragile, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6S Plus are protected against this problem. Why? Well, because this chip was moved directly into the screen to make way for the Force Touch module of 3D Touch, and if it were to break, simply replacing the screen would solve the problem.

It is very easy to conclude that Apple understood how big the problem is and solved it by moving the location of the chip, thus avoiding a lot of user complaints. Practically, if this problem were to appear on the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, it could be solved much, much easier than in the case of the predecessors.

How will Apple help users?

The simple answer is, in my opinion, that it will not help anyone. After selling over 200 million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus terminals, Apple will not admit that they have a major manufacturing problem that will require a complete replacement, such an admission could give rise to a huge scandal.

Admitting it, Apple risks seriously crumpling its image and losing the trust of many customers, so it would prefer that the problem disappear by itself. Correct ? Of course not, but don't expect Apple to admit that it made a mistake and that it will solve the problem in one way or another, because you are hoping for nothing.
