WhatsApp Messenger is the most used text messaging network on the planet, currently over 1.1 billion people use it monthly, the Facebook company updated the application last night and here is what it has prepared for us.
The WhatsApp Messenger app has been updated mainly to bring a variety of new features that are exclusively available in iOS 10, released last night by Apple. To begin with, we are talking about the integration of Siri in WhatsApp, so that we can use voice commands to send messages to friends, or initiate phone calls from the iPhone.
Moreover, we can answer phone calls directly from the LockScreen in iOS 10, and a widget visible in the lockscreen allows us to see what unread messages we have, or to quickly reach a chat window. Separately, WhatsApp allows us to resend received messages to several people simultaneously, which is impossible now.
In the interface for sending/resending messages, WhatsApp now shows us the people we chat with most frequently, and a new button in the chat interface allows us to quickly take pictures or video clips. Finally, WhatsApp allows us to quickly switch between the front and the main camera with a simple double tap on the screen.
