He says that the success of the iPhone 7 does not depend on what analysts say about the lack of new features, but also that the failure of the Galaxy Note 7 would not have mattered one way or another. He declined to comment on rumors of a possible drop in sales, but said he is optimistic about the success of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in the coming months.
Pegatron's president made these comments in anger over the fact that analysts in Taipei announced a decline in iPhone sales in 2016 to 201 million units. In 2015, Apple sold 230 million iPhone terminals worldwide, so we observe a difference of more than 10% in the total sales of terminals worldwide.
