iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have unexpectedly great success among Apple fans and not only, and if you wondered why people chose to buy the terminals, well below you have the reasons. Those from BofA Merrill Lynch listed 9 reasons why Americans bought the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, and they are of course related to the functions implemented by Apple.
According to the study, the main reason why iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus were bought is the battery autonomy, which is superior to other iPhone terminals. 65% of those who bought the new products specified this improvement as the main reason why they chose to make the purchase, giving up an old terminal.
On the second position in the list of reasons is water resistance, 59% of the participants in the study mentioning this improvement as the main reason why they bought iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. We already know that both terminals are extremely resistant to water, even at depths greater than 5 meters, so it is unlikely that any device will be damaged after contact with water.

The third reason why the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are so successful is the camera that takes better photos and videos, 54% of participants choosing this reason. On the fourth position is the new A10 Fusion chip with a quad-core processor, convincing 52% of the participants that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are worth buying now from the Apple company.
49% of the participants chose the iPhone 7 Plus thanks to the 3 GB of RAM it has, but that extra GB of RAM seems to be used only for recording pictures with the Portrait function. 47% of users said that they bought iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus because it was time to benefit from a subsidy from operators, so they had terminals that were at least 2 years old.
37% of people specified the dual camera of the iPhone 7 Plus as the main reason for purchase, this being one of the main new functions implemented by Apple. 23% said that the new design was what attracted them, and here we are probably talking about the colors black and jet black, 15% clearly mentioning these among the reasons.
8% of the rest of the participants had other reasons to buy iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, and that's how we found out why Americans chose to buy the new smartphones. If the iPhone 7 Plus really has a much better battery life, the iPhone 7 doesn't really shine that much, or at least not yet.
