DHL refuses to transport the Galaxy Note 7

DHL, one of the largest transport companies on the planet, refuses to transport the Galaxy Note 7 between customers who have units and warehouses of the Samsung company. Ireland is the country where it was found that DHL refuses to transport Samsung smartphones, despite the fact that they are sent in special boxes that reduce the effects of a fire.

Samsung started sending boxes to customers to put their terminals in so that if they catch fire, they don't affect what's around them. Despite these security measures, DHL refuses to transport the Galaxy Note 7, just as the British Post Office refuses to do the same, or even from Ireland, more recently.

The situation is unprecedented for a smartphone, but given that the units risk exploding during transport, the security measures are easy to understand. DHL cannot take the risk of a car with other parcels exploding for one reason or another, so they simply refuse to transport the Korean terminals for safety reasons.

Customers who bought the Galaxy Note 7 online and live in an area where there is no Samsung partner, will have to take the terminal to such a store by themselves. In this idea, many people could be forced to travel long distances to return the terminals and there is a good chance that UPS will make exactly the same decision soon.

"We have checked with DHL and they have advised that they will not handle faulty items, including the Note7."
