iPhone 7 attracted a lot of Android fans

iPhone 7 helped the Apple company to attract a record number of Android fans in T3 2016 and implicitly for the entire fiscal year.

iPhone 7 attracted extremely many Android fans to the Apple company, according to some details provided by the president Tim Cook during a conference organized yesterday. T3 2016 was the fiscal quarter in which Apple registered the largest number of former Android users who chose to switch to its iPhone terminals.

The iPhone 7 was most likely the catalyst for this record for the Apple company, but surely the failure of the Galaxy Note 7 also had a role to play in this success. Apple has been bragging in recent years about the fact that more and more Android users are switching to the iPhone, but the launch of the iPhone 7 was probably a turning point for many of those undecided.

Of course, the fact that many people are fed up with the fact that the Galaxy Note 7 keeps exploding and has to be replaced once a month is also taken into account here, iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus being a very simple choice. Tim Cook's announcement seems to confirm what analysts have been saying, more precisely the fact that many of those who give up the Galaxy Note 7 switch to the iPhone.

Apple did not provide details on the number of Android users who chose to buy an iPhone in Q3 2016, but we are probably talking about a significant percentage. Tim Cook did not say that the iPhone 7 was the catalyst for the record, or the smartphone of choice, but this is very easy to deduce at the moment.

"As you know, iPhone customers are the most satisfied and loyal customers in the world, and in fiscal year 2016 we saw more customers switch from Android to iPhone than in any other year. The reason is mainly based on the experience offered to customers through our products, and this cannot be matched by any other company."

Having said that, Apple manages to convince more and more Android users to buy its products, and this suggests that sales will increase substantially in the future. 2017 seems to be the year in which the sales of iPhone terminals will start growing again, and this of course thanks to the iPhone 7.
