This stupid change was made a few years ago for the first time, and those from Samsung will also apply it to the Galaxy S8 because it has no logic to provide a good experience. Why allow people to scan their fingerprints very easily by watching exactly where they put their finger, when you can force them to feel the back of the case until they get bored.
