iPhone 8 will have an OLED screen implemented by Apple, the change being expected for more than 3 years by many fans. The Apple company will fulfill it in the end, but it does not intend to do it quite a bit, but will offer in the iPhone 8 an OLED screen that is curved towards the edges, just like those in the Galaxy Edge series.
For this new OLED screen of the iPhone 8, the Apple company will also integrate a new 3D Touch system that interprets the pressure applied by the user even more precisely. The current 3D Touch system is incompatible with the curved OLED screen of the iPhone 8, so Apple is forced to abandon it and implement a new 3D Touch technology for customers.
The new 3D Touch system for iPhone 8 will not be based on an FBCB sensor, but on one with foil, so it will have a higher sensitivity and will be able to perceive more types of presses. If the new sensor perceives a greater variety of presses, then Apple will be able to offer more functions for the new 3D Touch of the iPhone 8 starting from the fall.

OLED screens are more fragile than LCD ones, and for the iPhone 8 Apple will have to reinforce the sensor with a special metal structure. The application of this metal structure under the iPhone 8 screen should be compensated by the use of an OLED screen that is thinner than the LCD, so the thickness should not be affected in the end.
With the iPhone 8, Apple could offer the first major change for the 3D TOuch system offered in the iPhone terminals starting with the iPhone 6S from 2015. So far, Apple has not made significant changes, but for the iPhone 8 it is obliged to do so because the current sensor does not is compatible with the new type of screen ready for implementation.
Considering that the iPhone 8 will only be released in the fall of this year, for now there are not so many details about this new 3 Touch.
