iOS 11 and the function that scared the internet

In recent weeks, many Americans have started to get scared because of the fact that iOS 11 it would have a certain function that they believe Apple should not implement. More precisely, these people believed that iOS 11 will have a function that will send a notification to the people with whom we can have conversations when we take a screenshot in the Messages application.

The Snapchat application has such a function for temporary messages sent by users, it prevents taking screenshots and sends a notification when someone tries to do this. A few months ago there was a rumor saying that iOS 11 will have a similar function in the Messages application for messages sent via iMessage by users.

The rumor started from a hipster who is just trying to make fun of people, whom he managed to fool, but the information has absolutely nothing to do with reality. iOS 11 has no reason to have such a function because the Messages application does not allow sending temporary messages, all of which are permanently stored in the application until deleted.

The idea with the screenshot notification was based on notifying users when someone took a capture without a pin to let the interlocutor know, even though they were not allowed to do that. Many gullible Americans were scared in vain that iOS 11 will have a feature that no one needs, but iOS 11 will not send notifications to anyone when taking screenshots.
