April 1 pranks start with Google

April 1st pranks start today with the Google company, which published the video clip below promoting GNOME, an ideal product for people's backyards. We are talking about a parody made for Google Home, a product that Google thought of as a competitor to Amazon Alexa and which is now heavily promoted everywhere.

Unlike Google Home, GNOME's April 1st prank features a home assistant that's actually ready to tackle any challenge in the garden. "Dressed" as a dwarf in this April 1 prank, Google's GNOME is ready to give advice, control some objects in the garden, but also have fun at the expense of the owners.

Separately from GNOME, as an April 1st prank, the Google company also mocks virtual reality through a video clip in which it presents its employees called Haptic Helpers. In this April 1st prank, Google presents the simplest way to solve the problems of virtual reality headsets that do not help us taste, feel and taste the things we see.

Haptic Helpers were brought to the aid of people who use virtual reality to solve this problem, but only in an April Fool's joke. Those at Google still have a very good idea and maybe in the future we will have a human assistant to improve our experience of using virtual reality, but not just as an April Fool's joke.
