WhatsApp finally has the function you've been waiting for a year ready for launch, the messaging application for iPhone and Android being ready to offer users the function tested all over the world. I told you a few weeks ago about the new function for the WhatsApp application that will allow you deleting messages sent to users, it being prepared for launch in iPhone and Android right now.
WhatsApp is so close to launching this new feature for iPhone and Android that it now has a dedicated page that provides details about the entire process. Those at WhatsApp describe the process for deleting messages as one that helps us to remove messages from conversations, or group discussions, for everyone, so not only we will not see it, but no one who received it.
"Delete messages for everyone gives you the ability to delete specific messages that you've sent in either a group or an individual conversation. This is very useful if you've sent a message in a conversation you didn't mean to, or the message contains a spelling mistake."
WhatsApp says our messages will be deleted from everywhere when we want to do that, and those who saw them, or just received them, will only have a message displayed saying that the message has been deleted. Its content will completely disappear from our phones and those of the interlocutors, WhatsApp deleting the messages including from its servers, so that no one will be able to see them if we no longer want it.
WhatsApp brings the function of deleting messages from everyone
WhatsApp claims that this function offered to users is only available for a maximum of 7 minutes after sending the message in an individual or group conversation. After the 7 minutes have passed, the message sent by us via WhatsApp will not be able to be deleted by anyone, so it will remain permanently to be visible to all those who received it on their phones through the application.
"Messages that you have deleted for everyone will be displayed as "This message has been deleted" for the recipients of that message (*). If you see the same "This message has been deleted" message in a conversation, it's likely that the sender has deleted the message for everyone."
WhatsApp allows you to delete messages from everyone very simply and easily, just as you would delete a normal message from the interface of our application. The problem is that this function can only be used properly if everyone has the latest version of the WhatsApp application installed, otherwise, the message will remain in the conversations visible in the old versions of the application.

WhatsApp implemented the option to delete messages because users started asking for it regularly, so at some point it had to come.
