iPhone 8. New Swollen Battery Reported

The iPhone 8 is again in the media's attention because of a new swollen battery that was reported by a customer who had the unit replaced.

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is back in the spotlight these days after a new swollen battery was reported for a iPhone 8, but this time in South Korea. It seems that an Apple customer requested the replacement of a new phone model in an authorized service because its battery swelled and cracked the case, and below you can see how the phone looks like.

The Apple company replaced the said iPhone 8 phone without discussion and the customer went home satisfied with the solution of the problem, but we have in front of us a new case of a phone with problems. Apple has acknowledged in each case that it investigates the problems reported by customers, but has never acknowledged that there is a global problem with its phones.

It is also very logical to see that Apple does not recognize this, especially since the number of iPhone 8 or Plus phones that are affected by problems is less than 10, at least according to media reports. In this idea, the Apple company does not have a real problem with these phones, but only a very normal percentage of defective units, considering how many millions have been sold so far.

The biggest problem for the Apple company, however, lies in the fact that the South Korean authorities are thinking of investigating the phones of those from Cupertino. We are talking about an iPhone 8 with a swollen battery and an excess of zeal on the part of the Koreans, but maybe it is normal to protect Samsung, which last year embarrassed itself with its explosive phones, literally.

Until now, no country in the world has bothered to investigate Apple phones for possible explosion risk, especially since not a single one has exploded. In South Korea, opinions seem to be different for the iPhone 8, although last year the authorities left a lot to be desired bombs calls the streets without thinking about the fact that many customers could be affected.

The iPhone 8 was launched in September, it is not selling very well at the moment, but even so, the Apple company still generates quite good revenues from it. This case comes a few weeks after the last one, so no one needs to worry.

""The gap between the front and the back of iPhone 8 widened as the battery swelled and I was even able to see the top of iPhone 8's sound button. Although I did not see any possibilities of heating or explosion, I was pretty excited to see this problem that I used to see only from foreign news. Although this case that happened in South Korea is a slight problem, we can carry out formal inspections based on legal grounds or order for recalls if the same case happens in other parts of South Korea."
