Apple Watch: Important Lawsuit Against Apple

Apple has an extremely important lawsuit filed against it by customers who claim that all Apple Watches contain a major manufacturing defect.

Apple Watch Important Process Apple

Apple Watch is in the middle of a very important process through which the Apple company has to go, being accused that all the smartwatches sold are defective. According to the people who initiated this process, the Apple Watches suffer from a manufacturing defect due to which they crack or detach from the case.

The people who initiated this process own various models of the Apple Watch launched by the Apple company over the years, all of which have been purchased from the US so far. According to the petitioners, Apple should have known about this defect of the Apple Watch, or it knew and kept it hidden with good knowledge, all so that sales could continue to grow.

In the complaint submitted to the court, it is stated that Apple denied any kind of problems with the Apple Watch screens, and always blamed the customers who bought them. Of course, Apple refused to repair under warranty the Apple Watch units affected by this apparent problem, customers being forced to pay large sums for repairs.

"The Watches all contain the same defect and/or flaw, which causes the screens on the Watches to crack, shatter, or detach from the body of the Watch (the "Defect"), through no fault of the wearer, oftentimes only days or weeks after purchase. Apple knew that the Watches were defective at or before the time it began selling them to the public. Furthermore, consumers complained to Apple about the Defect almost immediately after Apple released the Series 0, Series 1, Series 2, and Series 3 Watches.”

Apple has so far acknowledged that some Apple Watch models have problems with batteries that swell, repairing those units at no cost to the customer, even if the warranty has expired. Apple refuses to repair Apple Watches whose screens have detached from the case, but where the battery has not swelled, and this process could force it to do so.
