Google Maps is constantly changing, the applications for iPhone si Android having constantly implemented new and important functions by those from Google, and a very useful one is announced right now. We are talking about a function that was recently integrated into the iPhone and Android applications by the Americans, and in the image below you can see what Google Maps is going to offer for users interested in using the functionality every day.

Google Maps has introduced new shortcuts to quickly receive guided navigation instructions to get home or to work faster, they are visible in the lower part of the map, just above the separation from the lower menu. Google Maps allows us to choose the addresses for our home and workplace, and with their help we can receive guided navigation information faster without looking for these shortcuts through the application's menus.

Google Maps displays these shortcuts right over the standard maps with information around the location where we are, users starting last night to see it in the iPhone and Android applications. Google Maps has activated this new functionality directly from Google's servers, so users do not have to do anything to use them, so if you still do not see the shortcuts, it means that they have not been activated in Romania, or in the location where you will find out.

Google Maps has several functions that help users get home or to work faster, so these shortcuts are an integrated part of the mechanism meant to keep us less in traffic every day. Google Maps also has other interesting functions in the process of testing at the moment and I will come back with details about them, but today's one is publicly offered and propagated to users all over the world right now.
