ING HomeBank is available on Web and Mobile

ING HomeBank has been non-functional for several hours on mobile phones and computers, the bank's online platform having a variety of useful services.

ING HomeBank is unavailable since this morning, the service of the Romanian bank cannot be used by customers at all, both from the application and from the website. Those from ING announced that HomeBank will be available starting at 14:30 p.m., but we have already arrived at 17:00 p.m., and unfortunately customers cannot use the bank's online services.

ING offers through Homebank the possibility to control the accounts both through an application for iPhone and Android, as well as through a dedicated website. Below you can see the bank's statement regarding the problems that Homebank has been having for many hours, those from ING still having to return the functionality to normal, but that didn't really happen.

"Following the maintenance and updating of the ING Home'Bank service carried out this weekend (between July 7 and 8 - no), some of the bank's customers encountered difficulties in using the internet banking system. In order to resume normal service operation, we have decided to shut down ING Home'Bank [between 12.30 and 14.30], during which time we will implement the necessary structural updates."

ING still has a functional call center, and the offices in the country still have a schedule for a few tens of minutes, so if you have something urgent to solve, you can use them.

UPDATED: Homebank's functionality has returned to normal, according to those from ING, so now you can use all online services without problems.

"The difficulties encountered by our customers today in logging into ING Home'Bank were indeed caused by errors in the implementation of the maintenance actions scheduled last weekend. However, the impact was limited, affecting only a part of the customers, who were later able to access the service during the day. ING Home'Bank is now operating at normal parameters and was the only system affected following the implemented updates. Card operations at the POS and in the ATM network were available to customers throughout the day in normal parameters."
