Huawei: RECORD SALES, BEAT Apple, Samsung CONTINUE TO DECREASE

Huawei recorded an amazing record on the smartphone market, the Chinese managing to surpass Apple for the first time, and to get closer to those from Samsung.

Huawei RECORD Sales BREAKS Apple Samsung DECREASE

Huawei recorded a record in smartphone sales in Q2 2018, according to IDC, the Chinese company succeeding for the first time in its history to surpass Apple in sales, something that some have been waiting for some time. According to analysts, those from Huawei sold 54.2 million smartphones in Q2 2018, 40.9% more than in the same period last year, the increase being still only second in the top, behind those from Xiaomi.

Huawei still managed to surpass Apple in smartphone sales and get closer to Samsung, whose sales fell by 8.3 million units, or 10.4%, but we are only talking about a continuation of the problems for Koreans. Samsung was also the only company that registered a decrease among the TOP 5 manufacturers, the rest only having increases, even if in the case of Apple it is something minor compared to T2 2017.

Huawei RECORD Sales BEAT Apple Samsung DECREASE 1

Huawei has surpassed Apple and is fighting more with Samsung, or even Xiaomi, which will soon also overtake Apple in smartphone sales, if things continue like this. Those from Huawei have clearly said that their goal is to record sales of 200 million units in 2018, and so far they have already exceeded 100 million units sold, so there are very high chances that they will easily exceed their goal .

"The continued growth of Huawei is impressive, to say the least, as is its ability to move into markets where, until recently, the brand was largely unknown. It is worth noting that Apple moved into the top position each of the last two holiday quarters following its product refresh, so it's likely we'll see continued movement among the top ranked companies in 2018 and beyond."

Huawei sells, like Samsung, mainly cheap and mid-range phones to collect such a large figure, and the profit generated by them is much lower than that recorded by the Apple company. Of course, this will matter very little in the end, because Huawei can now boast the title of the second largest smartphone seller, and Apple continues to follow the same trajectory that will take it far from the top, just like in the case of computers.
