Smartphone- were thought of as static electronic devices, with which you interact to do something, be it surfing the Internet, searching for information, etc. Despite the limited usefulness, someone still thought that smartphones would also need an extension, to get in better contact with people, and that's how the idea of adding a finger to smart phones was born.
In the video clip below, you can see the accessory for smartphones that adds a finger that is controlled by a special smartphone application. The idea behind the project made by a team of French researchers is to allow smartphones to interact with us, possibly to caress us when we use them.
The Finger Smartphone is the most SCARY Gadget
The accessory consists of a series of servomotors that are connected to an Arduino micro-controller, and through micro USB they take the necessary energy to operate. The finger for the smartphone is able to caress us when we receive notifications, or move the phone on the table, as you can see in the video clip above, everything being very strange.
MobiLimb is the name of this accessory, and of course everything is just a prototype, but with a "cover" that makes it look like a finger, everything looks like something out of a very bad sci-fi movie. Maybe the idea of smartphones interacting with us isn't so bad, but I think a more normal way to do it can be found, right? What do you think ?
