Apple has certified a very interesting new product for launch, the American company is preparing to put it on sale for customers in the next period.

Just a few weeks after I told you that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is interested in monitoring us even when we sleep, well now we are talking about a new product certified by the Americans. More precisely, at the FCC in the USA, the Apple company registered a sleep monitor, about which not much is known now, apart from the fact that it was created by Beddit in California.

Apple bought the Beddit company a year and a half ago, and now it is interested in bringing to the market a first product that will offer its customers something completely different from what they have had so far. Version 3 of Beddit's sleep monitor retails for $150, and version 3.5 has now been certified, and will most likely be more expensive than many imagine.

The launch of this product could allow Apple to interconnect the sleep monitoring device with the Apple Watch to record sleep information. Among the data recorded by this monitor are heart rate, breathing rate, body temperature, movements made during the night, snoring, room temperature, and humidity.

Each time the heart beats, the acceleration of blood through the circulatory system generates a mechanical impulse that can be measured and analyzed. Throughout the night, Beddit tracks each individual heart beat and respiration cycle. Beddit's advanced analysis and machine learning algorithms adapt differently to each body type and provide detailed sleep data.

Although Beddit's devices can send data to the iPhone and iPad, integration with the Apple Watch would be something truly new, so it remains to be seen what Apple will offer when it launches this product.
