Google Maps. A new update has been released for Google's online map platform, but we are not talking about one available in the application stores, but one made directly from its servers. The change is not a major one for Google Maps, and this is because we are only talking about a modification for the interface that is visible when we search within the mobile applications, it now has a new material design.
Google Maps. The changes to the interface are currently only available to some of the users who use the online map platform at the moment, so not everyone can enjoy it. This means that for now the interface change is only being tested for Google Maps in order to offer it to the whole world, so regardless of whether you have it available or not, you can expect it to disappear from your phones at any time.
Google Maps has a new search interface based on material design
Google Maps. You can see in the image above what this change looks like, it brings users a much "cleaner" interface where they can see all the information they need to get wherever they want. Even if from the point of view of functionality, this improvement for Google Maps does not bring anything substantial, it still brings a visual change that makes the experience of using the platform better at the moment.
Google Maps. The implementation of the material design for the search interface within the application comes after the same change was implemented for other sections within the application for online maps. Having said that, more improvements will be available for Google Maps in the future, with Google having some surprises in the development process, but it's hard to say how soon they will be available to everyone.
