Android 10 has prepared a very important change for all phones that will be able to run this version of the operating system, bringing something that many people have been asking for for many years. More precisely, Android 10 wants to solve to a certain extent the problem of updates for phones and tablets running this operating system, the basis of the change is Google Play, from where these could be initiated in the near future.
Google it is thought that users of phones running Android 10 will be able to initiate updates for the operating system right from the Google Play application, instead of looking for them through the settings menu, as at present. Basically, the updates for Android 10 would be done exactly like the updates for the applications installed through Google Play, the change itself being a surprising one, but maybe that's how the problem of updates for the operating system will be solved in the end.

Android 10 would send notifications to users to let them know that there is an update available for the operating system, just as it happens on some phones with applications. When a notification is accessed by Android 10 users, they will automatically open the interface through which the updates can be installed in the phones, and from there the process will follow its normal course, exactly as the installation happens through the settings application.
Version 14.5.52 of the Play Store this evening contains several strings related to downloading and installing a "System Update." If Google Play is indeed referring to OS updates, the strings — at the very least — suggest that users could initiate downloads and installs for new versions of Android right from the Play Store.
Google wants to change the rules of the game to push mobile phone manufacturers to bring Android 10 faster to users around the world, but it's hard to say to what extent this will happen. Google has very big problems with the fact that it is extremely difficult for phone manufacturers to release updates for customers, and in Android 10 a new attempt is made to bring things back to normal, although the chances of this happening are small.
Android 10 will be released by Google in the summer of this year, most likely in August, but all its important novelties will be presented at Google I/O.
