Digi Mobil. The fourth largest mobile phone operator in Romania is targeted by an extremely interesting news that shows us how much the company has grown in the first months of 2019. More precisely, we are talking about the portings made in the network of the mobile phone operator Digi Mobil , last year occupying by far the first position in Romania in this segment, RCS & RDS managing to cover their departures from the network with newly arrived users.
Digi Mobil. According to the data published by ANCOM, in the first 5 months of 2019 no less than 155.664 mobile and landline numbers were ported to the mobile operator's network. The figure represents more than half of the total number of telephone numbers ported in the Digi Mobil network throughout 2018, except that now we are talking about only 5 months of the year, so after June it will probably reach almost 180.000.

Practically, the operator manages to attract more and more customers from the competing companies, and from year to year it only recorded increases on the line, but the total number of customers did not increase as much as the number of porters. In 2018, the total number of customers for mobile and landline services did not register any increase compared to 2017, although over 288.000 numbers reached the Digi Mobil network from competing networks.

Practically, the arrivals covered the departures, and in 2019 it is possible to register an increase if the number of departures remains constant, because the portings already have an advance of about 10% compared to 2018. It is interesting that the portings increase in the conditions in which Digi Mobil has had the same subscription offer for a very long time, and only the seasonal promotions differ, so people's dissatisfaction with the services of competing companies seems to be the main reason for leaving.
Digi Mobil. It will be interesting to see how the porting situation for the operator will evolve in 2019, but based on what we see so far, we may be witnessing a new year of records for those from RCS & RDS.
