The App Store DESTROYS Google Play in Revenue Generated by Applications

The App Store continues to dominate Google Play from all points of view when it comes to the revenues generated by the applications available in iOS and Android. You can see below an estimate made by an American company regarding the revenues generated by the stores, and the difference is impressive.

The App Store generated $1 billion in Q2019 25.5, $2.9 billion more than in Q1 2018, with Google Play reaching $14.2 billion, up $22 billion. Although Google Play has many more applications than the App Store, Apple still earns the most money, and has the largest increase in revenue.

The App Store is DESTROYING Google Play app revenue

The App Store has long since lost its supremacy in terms of the number of available applications, or monthly downloads, but not in terms of revenue. Google Play dominates the App Store where it brings absolutely nothing, remaining just over half of the money that the App Store generates quarterly from application sales.

Both in the case of the App Store and in the case of Google Play, a third of this amount remains with Apple and Google, the rest going to the application developers.
