iOS 12.4 brings a SPECIAL New Feature to iPhones

iOS 12.4 has implemented a new special function for iPhone phones, the Apple company allowing much easier data transfer between American devices.

iOS 12.4 iPhone data transfer

iOS 12.4 was released last night by the Apple company with few important changes for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, but with a new special function that was rumored a few weeks ago. More specifically, iPhone phones have a new feature in iOS 12.4 that allows for much faster data transfer from one phone to another wirelessly, or using a Lightning cable, which has Lightning connectors at both ends.

The new function was not promoted very intensively by the Apple company, but it was mentioned among the new ones implemented in iOS 12.4, its advantage being that certain data is transferred faster via Wi-Fi. The problem is that this new process does not directly transfer all the data from the phones, the applications being downloaded through the App Store on the new iPhone, so an Internet connection is still necessary for the process to be done.

iOS 12.4 starts the transfer process after logging into the Apple ID used on the phone from which the data is transferred, and of course it is necessary to enter the access code from the old phone, plus the Face ID/Touch ID configuration. Transferring data from one phone to another via Wi-Fi can be done in 2 hours, depending on the size of the files stored in the phone, but also on the age of the model, so you have to be patient.

The solution is one for those who do not have a Wi-Fi network with very fast internet at their disposal, because the local transfer via Wi-Fi can be done at several hundred megabits, while the download from the Internet is not so fast. The cable transfer is not very fast either, and anyway you have to download the applications from the App Store, so don't consider the function to be extremely useful, because in the end you might be disappointed by what it offers.
