According to an OpenSignal analysis, Samsung phones offer the best internet browsing speeds among all the phone models on the market, surpassing those produced by Apple or Huawei.
The analysis was done on speed tests carried out in dozens of countries around the world, and Samsung phones offer higher speeds than those from Huawei and Apple in 35% of them, a surprisingly high percentage. iPhones came out victorious in the tests done in 17.5% of the countries, and in the rest none of the three manufacturers managed to come out on top of the other, the differences being very close between the phones they sell.

Samsung phones generally have download speeds 1-3 Mbps better than those recorded by iPhone or Huawei phones, but there are countries with even greater differences. In these, the differences can reach up to 14 Mbps, mainly in favor of Samsung phones, but sometimes even iPhones came out victorious at such large distances, but Huawei always remained behind the competition, which is surprising.
More surprising is that Samsung phones do not, on average, outperform iPhones by that much, which have significantly inferior modems produced by Intel. The differences are small, but notable in the context in which those from Apple want to develop their own modems for iPhone, iPad and Mac, Samsung phones mainly use modems from Qualcomm, although the Koreans also produce modems for some models.
Having said that, if you care a lot about Internet download speeds, then Samsung phones should be your main choice, while iPhones, or Huawei phones, should be second.
