RCS & RDS. Orange, Telekom, Vodafone, AMAZING Announcement for Romanian Customers

RCS & RDS. Orange, Telekom, Vodafone, an amazing announcement for all customers in Romania came from the authorities, they are preparing a series of changes that will only bring benefits for all Romanians. More precisely, those from ANPC want to substantially increase the fines that Romanian companies will receive, including those that have abusive clauses in contracts, as happened at RCS & RDS, and all other companies, and as will happen again .

RCS & RDS. A project designed in the first part of this year by the ANPC provides a series of much tougher measures for large companies that make fun of their customers, have abusive clauses in their contracts, or do not respect the current ones. ANPC wants the fines that can be applied to RCS & RDS, and not only, to be doubled from 200.000 LEI to 400.000 LEI in the case of companies with turnover of 5-10 million LEI, i.e. all telecommunications operators.

RCS & RDS. Orange, Telekom, Vodafone, ANPC want a HUGE CHANGE in Romania

RCS & RDS. There have been countless cases in which the abusive clauses in the contracts of these companies were detrimental to Romanian customers, and ANPC wants tougher fines for the companies. With fines of up to 90.000 euros instead of 45.000 euros, companies can think much more seriously about the way they treat their customers, RCS & RDS, but also the other operators, also losing lawsuits opened by customers in court.

RCS & RDS. The ANPC project was made at the beginning of the year, but unfortunately so far it has not progressed exactly as it should have, so for now the higher fines cannot be applied. If it ends up being applied, then we can expect RCS & RDS, and the other companies, to think more seriously about how they treat us, and what clauses they include in the contracts they make us sign.

RCS & RDS. At the moment, the ANPC proposals must go through the Parliament to become law, so it is unlikely that any clear decision will be made until 2021.
