Huawei: LAST TIME decision, ALL Phones are Affected

Huawei has a last-minute decision made for all its phones, here's how its activity is affected at the moment because of it.

Huawei decision affected phones

Huawei he finally got the news he had been waiting for for several months, the Americans finally succumbing to all the pressures that came from numerous companies operating on their territory. Following the 300 requests to allow the resumption of commercial collaboration with Huawei, the US Department of Commerce finally decided to approve 75 of them last night, rejecting another 75, and leaving 150 unanswered.

Huawei has been waiting for several months to be able to resume its commercial activity with many of the partners from whom it buys components and software for its phones and telecommunications equipment, and soon it will be able to do so. It is not known which of the US companies that requested the approval of the authorities to resume their commercial relations with Huawei have received the approval to do so, but if Google is among them, then the big problem is solved.

Huawei can resume commercial relations with some US companies

Huawei suffered a lot due to the fact that it cannot license the Android operating system from Google for its phones, and this could eventually stop, if Google is also on the list of approved companies. This is not yet known because the Americans have refused to divulge the list of companies that have received approval to resume commercial relations with Huawei, but all the approved ones will more than likely announce what happened.

“The Commerce Department said it has begun issuing licenses to some companies to sell goods to Huawei. The Department issues these restricted licenses to authorize limited and specific activities that do not pose a significant risk to the national security or foreign policy interests of the United States."

Huawei now has the chance to at least partially resume its activity, even if this means that it will not be able to use Android, but it will be able to buy other essential components for the phones it produces. We are talking here about GSM modems, WiFi chips, Bluetooth, etc., which are as important for Huawei as the Android operating system, and which were also seen from American companies, so they could come again.

Huawei has not yet made any statement regarding the announcement from the US, but it is as clear as possible that the news is good, now it remains to be seen how good it will be for all its customers.
