WhatsApp it has a number of very important changes for a major feature that is in full preparation for release at the moment, and we're talking about something that a lot of people have been waiting for a while. The function is the one that allows the deletion of messages from phones automatically after a certain period of time after sending them, WhatsApp having implemented it in a very interesting way, which finally brings something that people wanted.
WhatsApp changed the name of this new function to Delete Messages, in the past it had the name Disappearing Messages, and the new name is not so suggestive, regarding its usefulness, in relation to the old one. Even so, the change is seconded by a much more important one, and this is because WhatsApp also changed its mode of operation, which can now be used also in the case of conversation groups, not only in individual chats.

WhatsApp initially had the function intended to be used only in individual chats, but it seems that it was able to make a change based on which users can use the function including in conversation groups. Only the administrators of these groups can activate the function of automatic deletion of messages published by users, and people will not even know what happens to the messages that can disappear anytime from an hour to 1 year.
WhatsApp implemented the function in a similar way that users have many options to choose when the sent messages can disappear, the periods being more than in the case of those sent on Snapchat, for example. Even so, a lot of people asked for the implementation of such a function for WhatsApp, and the company needed a lot of time to offer everything that users want, but in the end it does.
WhatsApp will launch this functionality during 2020, maybe even somewhere in the first part of the year, but for now no one has found out any possible date when this would happen.
