Men Arrested Smuggling Apple Products worth $1 million

Three men from Hong Kong were arrested by the authorities for smuggling Apple products and other electronic devices worth 3.2 million dollars, all of which had to reach China.

Apple products, including iPhone phones, Apple Watches, iPad tablets, or MacBooks, had a total value of 1 million dollars, so a third of the total value of the products that were confiscated by the authorities.

The men had all the products loaded on a boat whose destination was China, the goal being to sell them there at a profit, considering that in Hong Kong the prices of these products are lower than in the neighboring country.

Among the other confiscated products are RAM memory modules and processors, their total value completing the difference from that of Apple products to the total amount of products confiscated by the authorities.

"Hong Kong authorities have seized $3,2 million worth of contraband from a cargo ship bound for mainland China and arrested three men in one of the largest seizures of electronic goods in the city's history."

The police claim that this is the biggest capture made so far, the men trying to hide all the products in a secret compartment of the 50-meter boat with which they were trying to reach China without being detected.
