Romanian Police: LAST MINUTE decision of the Government, WARNING for Romanians

The Romanian Police has announced a last-minute decision taken by the Government by Minister Marcel Vela, here is what he will do for policemen in 2020.

Romanian Police cameras

Romanian police will benefit greatly from a last-minute decision taken by the Romanian Government in their favor, and everything comes as a warning to Romanians who do not really respect authority. Marcel Vela, the current minister who leads the Ministry of Internal Affairs, announced that all agents who are part of the Road Brigade of the Romanian Police will have cameras to record every interaction they have with drivers.

Romanian police some of the agents have been equipped with video cameras for some time, but the minister wants to buy more to properly equip those from the Road Brigade so that they are no longer abused by drivers. A recent case with a policeman who was threatened by a politician is brought into the discussion, the incident being heavily mediatized, and now the Romanian Police will have everything it needs to document situations of this kind.

Romanian police it will therefore be able to prove in court any kind of cases in which citizens threaten or insult the police agents, but the cases of attempted bribery, or the abuses committed by the policemen, will also be able to be proven in the same way. The Romanian Police will have to make a serious investment for these video cameras to be bought, and of course there will be many who will say that the investments should go first to better guns and safer cars.

"We will buy video cameras for each traffic policeman that will eradicate the phenomenon of corruption in the Traffic Police, they will make the policeman responsible in dialogue with the driver and, at the same time, the driver in dialogue with the policeman, being the evidence of the camera. You will no longer find deputies who curse the policeman, nor traffic policemen who abuse their position."

Romanian police it needs a lot of shortages, and although video cameras were not exactly one of the urgent needs, here is that Minister Marcel Vela believes that they must be equipped with the policemen from the road brigades. The Romanian Police will be able to use the recordings from these cameras as evidence in court because they will be approved for audio/video recording, so we can expect even more recordings on TV of what the drivers are doing.

Romanian police has not yet announced any plan to start purchasing these cameras and equipping the police with them, so it remains to be seen when everything can be implemented in 2020.
