Samsung GALAXY S20 has, unfortunately, a bad decision announced today, showing us that Samsung will differentiate the phones according to the market they sell to, and this is not exactly something that should be encouraging. More precisely, it seems that the phones in the Samsung GALAXY S20 series will have different specifications depending on the market in which they are sold, so that the price is adapted to the purchasing power of consumers in the various markets in which they are offered.
Samsung GALAXY S20 it will be sold in some markets with a minimum of 8 GB of RAM, while in other markets it will be sold with a minimum of 12 GB of RAM, which is not exactly a good idea, even if the prices will be different. I have seen something similar done in the past years by some manufacturers in Romania, they launched in the country phones with lower specifications than some from other countries, but at similar prices, and we can only hope that in the case of the Samsung GALAXY S20 things will not be like this.

Samsung GALAXY S20 it will still have at least 128 GB of storage space for all the models that will be offered for sale by the Samsung company, so here we have equality. Regarding the RAM memory, it seems that the differences will only be made for the 4G models of the Samsung GALAXY S20 series, not for the 5G ones, and 12 GB should have been offered anyway only in the Plus models, so those with 8 GB RAM will have a big disadvantage.
Not all Samsung Galaxy S20 4G models are equal. Some countries are getting an entry level configuration with 8 GB RAM instead of 12 GB to allow for lower pricing of the base models. 128GB flash memory on all variants and no other differences though.

Samsung GALAXY S20 could have these differentiated prices for the 4G models because the standard Korean prices could be higher than many consumers expect, and that is never good news. However, the decision to differentiate the specifications of the Samsung GALAXY S20 series phones in order to attract more people is not really what was supposed to happen, unfortunately, but this seems to be the decision made by the Koreans.
Samsung GALAXY S20 it will be presented on February 11 at a conference that will take place in San Francisco, but it remains to be seen whether the launch will take place on March 6 or 13.
