Apple has so far collected and is donating over 20 million medical masks for medical staff in the US and many countries in Europe, a number that seems high, but in reality is far from necessary, but the company is doing everything it can to help.
Apple has a vast distribution chain, many partners in China who can provide medical masks at better prices than those paid by many governments, and the company uses its power to help countries fighting the Coronavirus.
Apple is not limited to that, its engineers also created a visor that will be produced and supplied to medical personnel in the US, and not only that, the company saying that from next week it wants to produce 1 million units per month to give them in outside the US.
Apple uses its power to help the world, knowing very well that everyone's help is needed to fight the Coronavirus, and if the economy recovers, it could carry out its activities normally all over the world.
Apple is dedicated to supporting the worldwide response to COVID-19. We've now sourced over 20M masks through our supply chain. Our design, engineering, operations and packaging teams are also working with suppliers to design, produce and ship face shields for medical workers. pic.twitter.com/3xRqNgMThX
