The Minister of Health: the warning for Romanians all over the country

The Minister of Health warns the Romanians

The Minister of Health, Nelu Tataru, spoke today about what Romanians should do, or rather what they should not do during this period, and to continue staying at home to protect themselves so that the number of cases does not increase after the weekend- this one.

The Minister of Health says that the peak of infections has not yet been reached, although in the last week we had a constant average number of cases, and today the lowest value in the last month, so we still need to be very careful not to risk getting infected.

"After Easter, this weekend is a very important one. You see, it's beautiful outside, it's the big day, it's a tradition of the weekend of May 1, 2 and 3. It is a tradition where people went out, met acquaintances. It's a different May 1 than other years. But, I repeat, just like the Easter Holidays, these holidays, this May 1st must be different in order to have in the coming years May 1st and normal Easter Holidays, with those close to us, with our loved ones, not just one, two or three people maybe.

Once again, I recommend caution, voluntary isolation, social distancing. I repeat, I haven't reached the top yet. I don't want us to think about relaxation, we can hope for a relaxation, but the moment of relaxation depends very much on how we manage the days of May 1, 2, 3 and maybe next week."
