Netflix the year 2020 began with the launch of a new type of subscription in various areas around the globe, this one being dedicated specifically for phones and tablets, all with the idea of being cheaper. Netflix thought this subscription for those who want to see the content only on these types of devices, which have small screens, from which you can't see a movie properly anyway, but the special subscription for them has half the price of the normal ones for platform.
Netflix launched subscriptions specifically to attract new subscribers to its platform, especially in developing countries, where not everyone can afford to pay such a monthly subscription. Unfortunately, this type of subscription has not yet arrived in Romania, and this is more than likely because there are many people who watch Netflix including on phones or tablets, and a subscription of this kind would be very helpful.
Netflix: What Still REFUSES to Offer to Romanians too
Netflix was extremely successful with this subscription in India, a country where people watch a lot of multimedia content on mobile devices, and of course they have little money. There, Netflix sells it at the lowest price among all the countries where it has such subscriptions, and in Romania it should have been launched at a price of about 3.99 euros, but for now it is left to wait, probably because the company does not consider it to be necessary for us.
Netflix it did not launch this special subscription in many other countries in Europe either, but of course it has it in some of the most developed ones, which is perfectly normal since there are people there who are willing to pay. In Romania, there would be over 1 million Netflix users, or maybe even more, but the base could increase if such a subscription were offered, but the final decision rests with the company, and for now it is late to appear, unfortunately.
Netflix will continue to launch new subscriptions where it considers it necessary, and we can only hope that Romania enters the category of this kind of countries, and as soon as possible.
