Relaxation measures June 1 Romania

2 hours ago, the president of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, made a short press statement announcing the new relaxation measures that will be applied in Romania starting on June 1, and you can see everything he said below .

Romania is therefore entering a new phase of extended relaxation, one that will bring us back to a new normal, one closer to the one we knew, but that does not mean that we should not continue to be vigilant when we move around in public.

"We had a rather long meeting, we analyzed the situation we are in, the stage of the epidemic and what measures are required. Even today we have almost 200 new cases, almost 200 people at ATI, we cannot talk about a significant reduction of the epidemic. Consequently: attention, attention, attention!

As for relaxation measures, we also have some positive news. From June 1, some activities will become possible again. Thus, from June 1, the terraces are reopened. However, it is clear that some very special measures are needed and these will be communicated. Tables 2 meters apart, maximum 4 people per table and that way things will be under control.

From June 1, it will be possible to go to the beach, but even here it is necessary to keep a distance of 2 meters between the beach chairs.

International road and rail transport will resume. Also from June 1, outdoor performances with a number of up to 500 spectators will become possible, but seated in seats according to restrictions and epidemiological triage.

Travel outside the town will be free from June 1. No more declaration will be needed. As for sports competitions, sports competitions will be able to resume starting from June 1, but for sports that are practiced outside."
