The Romanian government list of home isolation countries

The Romanian government, through the MAI, published today the list of countries for which home isolation is eliminated upon returning to the country, starting on June 15, for all asymptomatic persons, the measure being rumored since the past few days.

The Romanian government has included quite a few countries from the European Union on this list, but among the ones of great interest we see Austria and Germany, where there are many Romanian workers, plus Bulgaria and Greece, where many go on vacation, so you now know what is happening and when you return home.

"The list of countries from which citizens arriving in Romania will not be forced to enter isolation has been approved by the National Committee for Emergency Situations

Today, June 13, there was a meeting of the National Committee for Emergency Situations, held online, to approve the list of states from which citizens arriving in Romania will not be forced to enter isolation.
Thus, the states for which the measure of exemption from isolation is introduced, for asymptomatic people who come to Romania, are: Austria, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Cyprus, Croatia, the Swiss Confederation, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia and Hungary.

The list of countries for which the removal of quarantine/isolation measures is applied is updated weekly by the National Institute of Public Health, every Monday until 16:00 p.m., in order to add new countries to the list.

At the same time, flights to and from the countries subject to the exception will resume under the conditions established by GD 394/2020 regarding the declaration of the state of alert and the measures that apply during it to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the amendments and additions subsequent.
