Samsung made a surprisingly bad decision for the NOTE 20 series phones, which it will launch in August this year, and that says a lot about its desire to make a lot of profit. Those from Samsung will not replace all the processors in the Note 20 series phones, which means that although they will integrate the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ in the devices, they will not give up the Exynos 990 for the vast majority of distribution areas.
Samsung it will use the same Exynos 990 chip, which has problems with energy efficiency and performance, in tandem with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+, much to the displeasure of many people. Samsung's decision is one that will disappoint many fans who hoped that these bad processors from the S10 and S20 series would no longer be used, but it seems that the Koreans' intentions are completely different from what their customers want.

Samsung uses the Exynos 990 chips in the vast majority of the phones it sells globally, and in Note 20 it will be used in Europe, Asia, and not only, the Qualcomm Snapdrago 865+ will have a limited use. It was to be expected, for those who know how Samsung works, that the Exynos 990 will not suddenly disappear from phones, and we can see very clearly that this is happening, so customers will have to settle for just that.
I can confirm. I have found no references to any new chip other than Snapdragon 865+ in the firmware's I have on hand.

Samsung it doesn't really have alternatives regarding the processors it can use in phones, the Exynos 990 being of its own production, and much cheaper than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+, even if it is inferior. For those from Samsung, profit matters, even if the Note 20 series will be much more expensive than last year's, but even so, it will follow the same strategy that did not bear fruit for the Korean company in the past.
Samsung will present the new phones from the Note 20 series at an event that will take place on August 5, and the launch in stores should take place sometime on August 21.
