Raed Arafat: new drastic measures of restriction are not excluded

Raed Arafat drastic restriction measures

Raed Arafat, the head of the DSU, does not rule out the application of drastic new restrictive measures in Romania if the number of infections with the new Corona virus does not decrease, which of course is not happening at the moment, which is a very serious problem.

Raed Arafat spoke yesterday about the fact that there are 300 outbreaks of infection with the new Coronavirus in Romania, a huge number, but they would be under control, but if the situation degenerates, the application of much more drastic restriction measures than those now is not excluded .

"No one and no country will be able to say at a certain moment that they totally exclude taking more drastic measures. (…) We took, we quarantined some localities, even if the mayors of those localities were angry with us, even recently. We've taken some specific measures and that's what many countries are doing now, but there are situations where if you see that it gets totally out of control and it starts to be a big, exponential increase, some drastic measures can be reimposed." said Raed Arafat to DIGI24.
