WhatsApp is by far the largest messaging platform on the planet, with 2 billion users worldwide, and for all of them it constantly implements new functions. One of the new functions that WhatsApp was working on is called "Vacation Mode", it has been discovered for some time within the messaging application, but unfortunately it seems that the development process of this change prepared for phones has been stopped.
WhatsApp thought this "Vacation Mode" to give us the possibility to completely ignore the messages coming from certain conversations that were archived by us. If we now archive a conversation, it is moved to the bottom of the list of conversations in the WhatsApp application, but if a new message is received there, that conversation is moved again to the top of the list, so it is brought back to our attention by the application.

WhatsApp would have allowed the use of the "Vacation Mode" system to completely ignore the conversations we are not interested in, at the time of archiving they are completely hidden. Even if new messages come from an archived conversation within WhatsApp, that conversation will no longer be moved to the top of the conversations section, so we never find out that we received anything from any of the people we were chatting with at that moment. .

WhatsApp abandoned this feature without giving any explanation for the decision, and that's normal since it never announced that it was in the development process for release. In this idea, we will never find out the real reason why WhatsApp decided to completely abandon the development of this function, but if this decision was made, it was most likely carefully thought out by the company's engineers.
WhatsApp however, it is preparing other very good features for all users, so we can only wait for them to be officially released for everyone in the coming weeks and months.
