HBO Go is one of the largest video-on-demand streaming platforms worldwide, and in Romania there is a very large number of subscribers thanks to the partnerships between the HBO company and the telecommunications operators on the local market. Because there are so many Romanians who use HBO Go, the HBO company decided to make a new series in Romania, with Romanian actors, called RUXX, and already in the production process.
HBO Go this new series has been announced by HBO Romania itself, it being produced by HBO Europe for our country, and of course it will also be distributed through the streaming platform accessible by subscribers in the country. According to the company, the RUXX series was written by Vera Ion, directed by Iulia RUgina and Octav Gheorghe, and below you can also see how its production looks for HBO Go at the moment, most likely in our country.

HBO Go is going to broadcast the series most likely next year, and in it we will see the actors Raluca Aprodu, Madalina Craiu, Alec Secareanu, Bogdan Dumitrache, Serban Pavlu, Alina Chivulescu, Ioana Bugarin and Marian Olteanu. Some of the actors of this new series of HBO Go have also appeared in other productions filmed in Romania for various televisions, so they are not completely unknown to part of the public in our country.
HBO Go make a new series because there is very little content dedicated to Romanians on the platform, so something was needed to make Romanians pay more attention to it, and to want a subscription. HBO Go has less content than Netflix in Romania, but unlike the American platform, it deals with the production of content exclusively dedicated to Romania, which of course is extremely good news for us, after all.
HBO Go hasn't announced a release date for the RUXX series yet, but we'll most likely have it available early next year, if not even sooner, which would be great news.
