Facebook has announced a new change for the Facebook Messenger platform and users around the world, the American company will allow the creators of effects for these platforms to offer some for users around the world.
Facebook wants to expand the availability of effects for as many people as possible, so that users can have the best possible experience when they want to communicate in different ways with friends from all over the world, through the platform.
Facebook says that there are over 1 million effects available within the Messenger platform at the moment for everyone, and the number will continue to grow, and this is because there is room for even more very good effects.
“Facebook gives AR effects creators more places to share their work. The company announced as part of today's Facebook Connect event that it will expand the reach of third-party creators to both Messenger and Portal, meaning effects they create through Spark AR, Facebook's AR program, can appear in the app and that device as well. (AR effects already existed in both Messenger and Portal, but those effects will soon come from creators outside of Facebook's internal team.) The team says it will have updates on when third-party effects roll out earlier in the year future."
