Nelu Tataru says that the flu vaccines have already been sent to the DSPs who must distribute them to family doctors, but also to pharmacies, and Romanians should get vaccinated in order not to end up in a situation where they will be infected with the flu , as well as with the new Coronavirus.
"We purchased three million doses of flu vaccine. The first installments came from September 15, they were distributed to DSPs and family doctors.
Beyond the known risk categories, the intention is, this autumn and the beginning of winter, depending on the evolution, to extend to the teaching staff, and we will evaluate the evolution in the schools during this period.
This year we have contracted three million doses with the possibility of contracting another million. Last year there were only 1,5 million doses of flu vaccine plus 500.000 doses that were found freely in pharmacies for the rest of the population."
