Nelu Tataru made a very important announcement for all Romanians yesterday, the Minister of Health stating that at the moment the authorities in Romania are evaluating how the epidemiological situation of the Coronavirus pandemic has evolved during the month of September in our country.
Nelu Tataru says that everything is being analyzed after school has started again, restaurants have reopened, and there have been more relaxations in Romania, and the authorities want to see how the evolution of the Coronavirus pandemic has been affected, in order to know why to be expected during the following months.
"We do not consider the establishment of a state of emergency in our assessment. As you know, it is the prerogative of the president to declare a state of emergency, based on the information that comes from the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of the Interior, the scientific communities, as well as the evolution that we will analyze in the National Committee for Emergency Situations.
At this moment we are evaluating the first difficult month, September, a month in which we have several returns to activity, restaurants, theaters, open cinemas, returning from holidays, crowded public transport, election campaign, the start of school."
