RCS & RDS had an extremely good year 2020, the telecommunications group from Romania managing to achieve achievements that were impossible to imagine by many at the beginning of this year, but here things went in the right direction for the company. According to an official announcement made today by ANCOM, RCS & RDS had a great year on the goalkeeper side in our country, achieving something that no other operator has yet achieved.
RCS & RDS managed to register more than a quarter of all goals in Romania during 2020, until now, surpassing its competition from our country without any right of appeal, which is an impressive achievement. 667.469 phone numbers were ported in Romania in 2020, and those from RCS & RDS attracted no less than 285.152 customers to their network, i.e. over a quarter of the total, followed by Telekom.

RCS & RDS it keeps Telekom a noticeable distance behind, the difference between the two telecommunications groups being several tens of thousands of customers, but the German group launched so many good offers this year, that it could catch up. RCS & RDS has a big headache in the Telekom group, and this is because they want to substantially increase their customer base in the country, and they attack the porters' market in any way, where they register substantial increases.
RCS & RDS has managed to remain in the top of the goalkeepers in Romania for the time being, despite the fact that at one point Telekom was close to taking the first position, and it is not excluded that this will happen soon. RCS & RDS has become much more aggressive in the offers it has because of those from Telekom, and this brings good news for customers in Romania because its offers become better, but if the German group leaves, the competition also disappears.
RCS & RDS will finish the year 2020 more than certainly on the first place in the list of goalkeepers in Romania, and the good news is that due to the competition made by Telekom, it will have even better offers for all Romanian customers.
