Government of Romania: Announcement regarding the General Quarantine in Romania due to the Coronavirus

the Romanian government quarantines coronavirus

Nelu Tataru spoke again about the establishment of general quarantine in Romania because we are approaching 10.000 new cases of Coronavirus in our country, and the world wants to know what is being done to stop the increase, but the establishment of general quarantine is not a measure that the Government Romania wants to take it.

The Romanian government insists on respecting the protection measures it has imposed for our country, without saying that it will impose quarantine measures in any way, but it is quite clear that this will not happen, even if we exceed 10.000 of new cases announced daily, and this seems more and more certain.

"We are not following and I don't think we will have a lockdown, but we will have to, each of us, through our component that we can bring through this effort, not even to reach certain quarantines of localities. We're at a point where we can manage this stuff, but we can't manage it on our own as a medical side. It is also part of the civilian population. There are some rules that must be respected.

It depends very much on what that threshold of 10.000 means, if that threshold of 10.000 is symptomatic, they are isolated, they are quarantined or if that threshold of 10.000 will clog the medical system, then it will be different."
